Two-Day Watercolour Workshop

The use of expressive brushwork, exciting colour, and dynamic composition will be discussed using a combination of demonstrations, slide shows and individual help. This course is designed to help artists take advantage of the serendipitous nature of the watercolour medium. Instruction will deal mainly with landscape and floral motifs, but participants are welcome to tackle other subjects.

CSPWC WATERCOLOUR SYMPOSIUM
Held at ACAD, Calgary, AB
This Watercolour Symposium is sponsored by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour. The events will be held at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, AB.
I will be joining a team of well-respected watercolour instructors who will offer an exciting selection of mini-workshops throughout the five working days of the symposium. My classes will deal with abstraction, but the other workshops will include portrait, landscape, still-life, figure and many other topics.
The Symposium will also offer plein air excursions to the foothills and Rocky Mountains.
The program will include presentations, demonstrations, excursions, slide shows and much more. It will be a fabulous experience for artists from beginner to advanced who are looking for new challenges.
